According to the Indian school of thought a persons education gets completed only when he ventures into the field of instruction or teaching. Adhyapana the word corresponding to Teaching has a completely new dimension to it. Adhyapana endows a person with a much deeper understanding of the Sastra or science by the constant interaction with the students it also gives him a chance to hone his skills in communication which has a deeper dimension in the Indian system of philosophy. Dakshina moorthy the divine representation of the Guru bhava or the aspect of teaching is represented as a person who communicates through silence.Indian systems have long recognized that words are inefficient mediums of communication. Often the very life of the guru would function as the syllabus of learning as ones life is nothing but the tangible expression of one’s learning and wisdom. This was why in India one had to constantly live with the guru during the whole course of learning.
Dr.Vijith after his graduation decided to tread a path that much would have not considered in this world of professionalized health care.
